Description of Layout:
The SVOS is a massive multi-deck HO scale model railroad created by Bruce Chubb. It models the Southern Pacific’s Siskiyou Line and surrounding Pacific Northwest rail networks as they operated in 1955. The layout is in an 80 ft x 33 ft space utilizing up to five vertical decks and features roughly 1,400 feet of track, including mainline and complex multi-level staging. Designed for heavy operations, supporting 12 to 30 operators running up to 120 trains in a 24-hour operating session.
