Description of Layout:
The Alleghany Northern is 3 rail using mainly MTH equipment. Using a car card system and walk around throttles. It utilizes staging at both ends, with the main yard, North Durbin, in the middle of a 405 ft mainline. It contains several coal mines and towns for switching. We run both steam and diesel engines with full sounds. It contains long tunnels and bridges with a 2% grade.
